Communications Contest 2011
Official Campaign Communications Contest Guidelines
Each agency or department may enter only once per category. Entries should include examples pertaining to the specific category (i.e. Special Events, Best Poster/ Display, etc.) In addition to your application form you will need to Attach a description of your entry (two pages maximum.) Consult with your Loaned Executive if you are unsure which category to enter.
Communications Categories:
• Most Innovative Campaign Technique
• Special Events
• Campaign Communications
• Best Poster/Display
• Best Campaign Article or Publication
Final entries must be submitted to the PCFO no later than 5:00 p.m. on January 9, 2012. Submit entries to: Atlantic Coast CFC, 2600 Quantum Blvd., Boynton Beach, FL 33426. Questions regarding submittals may be referred to Toni Somma, 561-375-6676, or tonisomma@unitedwaypbc.org.
Each submission will be judged in the category entered. Criteria for judging submittals will include Overall Impression, Creativity/Uniqueness, Presentation Quality, and Communicating the CFC Message.
Most Innovative Campaign Technique: Award will go to the agency or department demonstrating creative campaign techniques to promote increased campaign participation, solicitation, and amounts collected. Innovative activities can be in the areas of Campaign Administration of Management, Marketing, or other innovations.
Special Event: Award goes to the agency or department with the most creative campaign event, kick-off, or promotional activity. Special events can be a big part of your campaign success. Detail your efforts with pictures, video, or other media as available. Describe the event, attendance, speakers, persons responsible and the impact the event had on your campaign.
Campaign Communications: Award will recognize an agency or department that utilizes the best communications technique to promote their campaign. This may include the use of your agency website, other electronic communications including newsletters, blast emails, Facebook or you tube entries.
Best Poster/Display: Award will go to the agency or department that creates the most unique poster or display to convey their agencies’ CFC message and attract contributors to the campaign or event. The actual poster or display must be submitted.
Best Campaign Article or Publication: Award will go to the agency or department who writes the best essay, feature story on an employee or charity, or article to inspire employees of the organization to participate in the CFC.
Contest winners will be announced at the Victory Event in February.
